Hi, I’m Rob.
Native Seattleite, adopted Houstonian who’s since escaped back to the forests of the Pacific Northwest where I belong.
I’ve been working with End User Computing for over 10 years, starting in the Citrix 6.5 days before moving over to hone my expertise on the Omnissa Horizon (aka VMware Horizon) platform, where I’ve helped customers design, implement and maintain environments from consisting of anywhere between 20 to 20000+ desktops and applications. Prior to that I’ve worked with everything from web sites/servers, Active Directory, datacenter consolidation/virtualization, application rationalization and the occasional family tech support.
I enjoy solving business technology problems, and serve as a frequent translator between tech and business.
Non-professionally I still play video games, put plastic blocks together and enjoy skiing, so some of my ramblings might wander off into those realms.
